Lake Almanor

At the base of Lassen Volcanic National Park lies Lake Almanor, a large body of water which is part of PG&E's Feather River hydroelectric system. Lassen Peak, an active volcano, which last erupted between 1914 and 1921, dominates the skyline.

There is an active arts community in Chester. During their summer
"Art Around the Lake" event, I demonstrate painting in the field. The intimate well-lit gallery space of B&B Booksellers on Main Street in Chester carries my work.
